What is CityThrones?
A global competitive game where anyone can claim the throne of any city in the world — and hold it for as long as they can.
Why we built it
We wanted to create something that combines status, competition and fun in a single place. Simple rules, real stakes, global leaderboard.
Scarce by design
There are only as many thrones as there are cities in the world — one per city, no exceptions. There will never be two kings of the same city. The scarcity is real, and so is the value of holding one.

FAQ
How it works
Search any city in the world. If it has no king yet, you can claim it from just $1. Can't find your city? You can add it yourself and be its first king.
If someone already rules, place a higher bid to dethrone them and claim the crown for yourself.
The moment you claim a throne, your name goes live on the global leaderboard and you receive an official royal certificate. Enjoy your reign — but stay alert. Anyone can dethrone you at any time by placing a higher bid.
The Rules
Each city has exactly one king at a time. If your city doesn't exist, add it!
Each city has its own independent bid. Your bids are cumulative per city — if you paid $5 before and the current king paid $7, you only need $3 more to reach $8 and take the throne back. The highest total per city wins.
The Country King is whoever has paid the most for any single city in that country. The Continent King is the highest bidder across all cities in that continent. And the World King is the single highest bid on the entire planet. One great bid can rule them all.
All payments are processed by Stripe — PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Every throne claim is recorded publicly on the leaderboard in real time.
